I upgraded my 3g by mistake and can't find a way to hacktivate/jailbreak and unlock....nothing works, I tried redsnow 0.9.2 and 0.9.4, blackra1n and pwnage tool but none of them worked, iTunes won't even let me downgrade to 3.1.2, what can I do?

Are you sure this is not a 3GS iPhone?

Jailbreaking a 3G upgraded to 3.1.3 - The following jailbreak tools work Redsn0w 0.9.2 (recommended) or 0.9.4 (probably will work, not recommended or Pwnagetool 3.1.5 (will work if you start from scratch, you can't re-use a previously created custom IPSW)


Jailbreaking a 3GS upgraded to 3.1.3 - See Hack that Phone - iPhone 3G S: Restoring "forbidden" firmware if you can sucessfully downgrade to 3.1.2 via this guide you can then use redsn0w 0.9.2, blackra1n or pwnagetool to jailbreak.

Blackrain limitations: Blackra1n does not work with iTunes 9.1 on Windows. Also Blackra1n will NOT work on OS 3.1.3 for any model iPhone.

Unlock of a phone upgraded to 3.1.3: No solution on 3GS, tiny chance on 3G with fuzzyband, permanant unlock on 2G still works fine on 3.1.3.
