You may not need to format the drive. First, try to select the "Upgrade" option, to see if it helps. If you cannot select it or it does not helps, select "Archive and Install", it will install a fresh system, but it will move the old installation files to a folder.

Thank you for helping guys, I really appreciate. I am currently on vacation so I have left my Start-up disks at home. Trying to get my hands on a Leopard Disk It's been such a mission to find one. Actually contemplating on just downloading one from a warez site

I will attempt what you guys mentioned above, hopefully I won't have to do a fresh install as I have not backed up all my stuff

If I have any questions, I will post them here, if you gents don't mind?

    TIA

Well I managed to get MAC OS to start up, but majority of my applications don't open and land up crashing. I attempt often to relaunch and they continue to crash.

I'm just gonna back up, and format it now.

Just a quickie, how can I backup my Safari bookmarks manually? I can't open Safari as it crashes, so I can't export them the easy method. Where are they located?

I don't understand this warning because I have jailbreaked/activated/unlocked two 1.gen iPhone's, one with 2.2.1 (using official QuickPwn) and one with 3.0 beta 5 (using unofficial QuickPwn). Both phones was restored and QuickPwn'd using iTunes 8.2.0.23 under 64-bit Windows 7 Build 7100 on an iMac under BootCamp.
