I need to know if this is just me or if others have noticed this. I have a 3G phone updated to 2.1 that I decided to try QuickPwn on. It completed successfully but, afterward, the phone lagged noticeably. Things like opening the camera or contacts took 2 to 3 times longer than before. Even 3rd party apps definitely took longer to open. For instance, I have the Bloom program installed and noticed that it took ~2X as long to open as a Youtube video I had up of someone running the program. I then restored the phone back to normal in iTunes and tried again. Immediately, Bloom, contacts, camera, iPod, etc all opened MUCH faster.

I googled this and noticed many people complaining of iPhones running much slower after jailbreaking them but couldn't find any definitive info on whether it was a specific jailbreak app, an installed app from Cydia or Installer, specific iPhone model, etc that was causing it. Searches here didn't turn up anything at all. Anyone else?

your not the only one i too experiencing slowness since i have jailbroken my iphone.

i compared this againts another 3g iphone that is not jailbroken and it was alot faster to open SMS, email, camera, photos etc

same problem here too, i also have a missing restore button in settings/general??

Think im going to go back to unjailbroken

Yeah, mine has been soooo slow. I'm just gonna update to 2.2 and wait till a good jailbreak comes I guess..
