Everything works fine for me until I press Go and it starts to hash the .ipsw file. DOS window comes up and it would crash.

Vista x86
iTunes 8

I followed all the instructions to kill iTunes windows, etc.

Just quickpwned my 2.1 3G, and for some reason I don't have a wifi icon anymore in the status bar after I turn it on. Anyone else have this problem?

Ran successfully on my 8GB 3G and everything works fine! I did not change the logos, but did install Cydia and Installer... Wifi works flawlessy as does everything else. Just followed what was on the screen. EASY!!! if you can read you can Quickpwn! it found the IPSW file by itself... effortless. I was scared when everything went through without a hitch... but it did. Great Job Dev Team.. I think this is the first time i've upgraded without problems. My only problem was after Cydia does it's thing, you will have two application folders, ringtones, etc... you can save space by going in and deleting one of each double folder... check the dates to ensure you delete the right ones... and the ones with the same date... change the name of one first.. then reboot... if not.. you may delete all system ringtones.
