I have a new iphone 3G that requires activation. If I use pwnage to jailbreak it, will it be useable as an ipod etc. or will it still require activation?

I just jailbroke my iPhone 3G (it needed activation) today using quickpwn and so far its flawless.

So yea if u use quickpwn ul be fine and u can use it like normal

Just Pwn It!

Dude I quickpwn'd the phone and the jailbreak worked sweet. And the turbo sim is working fine. I do have a problem though.. iTunes is refusing to recognise the sim card when I have the turbo sim in. It says please insert a valid sim to activate this phone. In order to get itunes to recognise the phone I have to put the original O2 sim in that came with it.

Any thoughts on how to fix this?
