(Question) quickpwn and officially unlocked 3g iphone

ok so i searched the forum and couldnt find the answer for this....i have a legally unlocked 3g iphone bought in italy and as some of u may already know in order to really have it unlocked is to activate it thru itunes after every restore so when i jailbreak it with pwnagetool i have to unselect the activate iphone tab bc if i do that ill have a fake activated iphone with no reception due to its process of unlocking bc .....so my question is does quickpwn activate the iphone or does it not? if it does is there an option so it doesnt activate it? does quickpwn work with legally unlocked 3g iphone?

Yes you can use QuickPwn to jailbreak the italy phone. It would not be activated, so only jailbreak is done. I've done the same, it works great.

Quickpwn will NOT activate your 3G phone. Once the process is completed and you launch Itunes, after a few seconds you will get the message on the phone that it has been activated, just like when you originally turned it on.

As i wrote in the Sticky thread:

Worked perfectly for me on 2 white italy 2.0.2 ootb 16 GB 3G w/o sim and netlock, on 2 italy 2.0.2 ootb 8 GB 3G w/o sim and netlock and on 2 old US ziphoned 8GB 1.1.4 2G!

All Phones are on 2.1 and everything works!

1. get the right firmware for your phone
2. Restore in ITUNES
3. Start Pwnage.exe
4. Followed the guide on ICLARIFIED
5. Ready to go!
