QuickPwn stuck waiting for the phone to enter recovery mode

I'm trying to use QuickPwn to jailbreak by 3G (2.2). I've updated itunes and followed the QP directions, but when I start the install process, the program gets stuck waiting for the phone to enter recovery mode.

What am I doing wrong? Please help.

Go to itunes and restore the firmware not upgrade and first hope you have downloaded the 2.2 firmware if not look here http://www.iclarified.com/entry/index.php?enid=1881

No, it still doesn't work. I've restored the 2.2 firmware, started the QuicPwn process, it displays the "waiting for iphone to enter recovery mode" screen, and then nothing happens. The phone displays the recovery mode screen. I've waited for about 10 minutes before abandoning ship.

Very frustrating.

Only reason I'm asking is trying enter DFU on a Mac's updated to 10.5.6 makes Quickpwn hanging waiting for recovery like this.

I have the same problem.
Iphone 3g 2.2, Itune 8.02 windows XP
freezed in recovery mode after using QuickPwn 2.2 and worse, can't even connect it to itune (not recognised). Please help

Given the apparent prevalence of this problem, someone must have some idea about how to solve it. Please.

try to download Quickpwn 2.2 from this link. it should be working. it works for me on Window Vista
