Hi,

do u need to restore or upgrade or do either to 2.2 from itunes before using quick pwn 2.2?

also when i quick pwn to 2.2 will i lose all data? if so how can i back up?

If you're worried about data you should use the update option

Ouickpwn is safe it shouldn't make you lose any data after you update.

another question... y does quick pwn require you to first upgrade or restore to 2.2 using itunes then when quick pwn'ing, it again requires the 2.2 firmware file. anyone know y?

Simply put Quickpwn extracts/uses some files from the 2.2 firmware (IPSW) on your PC to installs into your phones 2.2 firmware image to complete the activate/jailbreak process.
