Softbank are not GSM - nearly all 'piggyback' SIMS fail on 3G, Iwould doubt if you can get one that would work on Softbank.
If FW 3.0 is unlockable via yellowsn0w you should be OK when it's released.

Yes, I am still in Japan.
I tried 3gevey and ismartphone SIM card hack. None worked. No signal.
But when I tried the same iPhone at my home country, it does work with 3gevey SIM card hack.

I have tried using turbosim too and it does not work. it cannot pick up any signal from other networks. I think this is due to the phone network system in japan being only 3g.
What do you think?
Have you tried using the turbosim on a Japan iphone to detect a network in another country?
I am going back to my home country soon and would really like to know if i can use my phone there.
Thanks

None works so far.
look yall japan has its own wireless network right using only 3g and au does something else backwards as well so as not to be able to use their phones with other companies unless ur roaming which gets pretty costly outside of japan....these great people have made it really easy to just simply jailbreak and unlock ur iphone so that it may be used anywhere ya know....instead of trying to go around it just get in it . i mean ive tried everything for my iphone and come to love the jailbreak for the apps and accessibility and whatnot and i also love the feeling of being able to go to say korea and pop in their sim and use it or guam or uk or taiwan....yes stateside too. jailbreak and unlock and if ur so worried about any kind of warranty simply Dont replace the boot logos and ( b4 u take ur phone in) hide the jailbreak apps ie.cydia, installer, icy ect.

Why are you using Bootneuter?
Assuming it's a 2G phone and you haven't bricked it, just use RedSn0w.
