im kinda interested in upgrading my iphone from 1.1.4 to 2.2 and its already jailbroken.

is there anybody here who can help me upgrade it without messing it up.im just scared coz one of my friends told me that i cant even have the updated itunes coz its gonna stop my iphone from working so im scared of making drastic moves...

just dont listen to your friend
download and install the latest itunes
download the latest firmware from here (2.2)

use quickpwn to jailbreak your iphone
install bootneuter from cydia and unlock your phone

done.

EDIT: actually i think quickpwn for windows has the option to unlock your phone right away. Im not sure cuz im a mac user.
if this is so i would be even easier

1. DFU restore to 2.2
2. Run Quickpwn 2.2
3. Done.
