Update to 2.2 from 1.1.2 with TurboSIM -- HELP
Hello,
I have searched and searched this forum to find the answer to my questions. I find so much conflicting info that I just decided to post a new thread with my questions.
My 2G 8GB iphone is currently running with a TurboSIM. I am on a T-Mobile Network in the US.
It is running 1.1.2 (3B48b)
Modem Firmware is 04.02.13_G
Model Number is MA712LL
IMEI is 01 136500 900178 9
My question is this, how do I use quickpwn to get to 2.2 and still be unlocked and jailbroken? Is there a tutorial somewhere?
Will I lose all my installed apps (not app store apps obviously)?
Will I lose all my contacts?
Will I lose all my text messages?
Will I lose all my notes?
Will I lose all my scheduled events?
Will I lose all my photos?
Will I lose all my summerboard customization?
I currently sync my iPhone with Outlook 2007 daily.

U don't need the turbo sim anymore ....... Just use the iclarified.com guide to go to 2.2 ...
As for the apps yes u will lose em all .... Including the sb custms.
Sync the contacts and calendar entries with iTunes .. ...
Copy ur pics to ur pc .....
Messages will be lost ...
Trust me it's all worth the upgrade...
Good luck.
At the end of the tutrl set up ur iPhone as a new iPhone in iTunes
Sorry can't post any links as I'm on my iPhone rite now
Edit: outlook will contain contacts and calendar entries
