Steps to upgrading 2.2 --> 2.2.1

I want to update my firmware, and currently have 2.2 software unlocked on my iPhone.

What are my steps to doing this?

im having an issue though...on the second step where i hold shift and press update, it doesnt let me select the file i downloaded, it just wants to do the default action

I have a 2.2v iphone and want to update to 2.2.1, but the only problem is that when I use quickpwn and I'm at the stage where I have to hold shift and press restore, it doesn't take me to the screen where I select the custom firmware (like I'm not holding down shift at all).
