    @csnana:
Make sure you are using latest iTunes version. Besides that I strongly recommend restoring on another computer. Sometimes iTunes gets messed up resulting in "unknown error occured(x)"

Default Stuck on Apple logo after quickpawn 2.2

    I followed every step from
    http://www.iclarified.com/entry/comm...commentsanchor

and everything worked fine until to the end.
However now got stuck on Apple logo and nothing happened afterwards.

I repeated the same steps carefully and still the same result..

    Any idea?

I have First Generation iPhone and updated to 2.2 using windows.
I also tried on anothe PC but it did not work at all, suspecting that the iTunes might be tricky on the other PC.

    Thanks

    Default Small Question

I installed everything and it went great! However, what actually is Cynthia and App Loader? Also, it is asking me to connect to a wireless network. I did insert my TMobile SIM Card. I appreciate the help!

    Hi
I'm not sure what you mean by "what actually is Cynthia and App Loader" can you give more detail.

Its normal 4 your phone to try & connect to a wireless network if it sees 1 in range.

I really does not matter. There is no baseband update from 2.0 to 2.2 for the 1gen iPhone, so you still be unlocked.

No need to remove the SIM.

Default QuickPwn - Jailbreak successful, unlock, no.

    Got a 2G iphone, 2.2 (5G77) FW, Carrier 2.9, model MA712LL. Using QuickPwn22-1, itunes 8.0.2.20.

I was successful Jailbreaking phone (can be used as ipod touch with cydia, app store, apps etc), but is still locked for use with a T-Mobile SIM.

Phone asks for a SIM and when I put it in, T-Mobile symbol shows up in upper left corner and phone asks to "slide for emergency call". Can't get passed the dial pad.

I can actually make calls but can never get to app screen. Please, any suggestions is appreciated...

You got things the other way around.

If shows T-Mo in the upper left corner then it is UNLOCKED,
    but is not ACTIVATED.
