    Default [Question] How to upgrade from 1.1.4 to 2.2.1?

    I have a mac on 10.5.6 with unlocked 1.1.4 2g iphone and i want to upgrade to 2.2.1 do i:


    A) upgrade to 2.2.1 with itunes 8.1 then just use quickpwn to jailbreak/unlock (with the iphone doc)?

    or

    B) use the iclarified How to Unlock/Jailbreak Your 2.x.x 2G iPhone (Mac) [Updated 2.2.1]


    sorry if this is a stupid question im just worried about doing somthing wrong with my phone

    Don't use the upgrade option ..... Do a fresh restore ..... And be sure to set ur iPhone as a new iPhone in iTunes after the restore and quickpwn process , to avoid problems in future
