Hi,

I have been using an unlocked iPhone i bought off of ebay for a few weeks now, using TMobile data plan, and it has been working fine. Yesterday I hooked up the phone to itunes and i see a "Update Available" message and stupid me does it. I got that whole SIM card not valid message in the end and the phone was stuck on the icon telling me to hook up to itunes and i could make emergency calls only. I found the answer at this site and ran the system restore and then the pwnage to unlock and activate my phone. I put my Tmobile card in and bingo, i'm up and running, make a call and the phone works. Now I go and try Safari and stocks/weather, any kind of data link and i get a message "Not Subscribed to Data Plan" when I obviouisly am. I then go to "Settings, General, Network" and there is no EDGE link as before. I see a link for "Cellular Data Network" and when I click on that, it asks for APN/Username/Password just like under my old edge link. the usual wap.voicestream.com still doesn't work. I tried network reset, and settings reset and still nothing.
