    Default [Problem] [Solved] Quickpwn hanging

I have started to jailbreak my 2g iphone and it has got as far as Sending iBSS.m68ap.RELEASE.dfu... and is showing 66kb / 115kb but it has been at this stage for over 30 mins is this normal. I know it may take some time but is this normal?

    Cheers

Restore with latest 2.2 (in iTunes 8.02) and try again with QuickPwn 2.2...
Mac version doesn't unlock. You need bootneuter (from Cydia) for this or make custom firmware with Pwnage 2.21 and restore with it after QuickPwn. This way you don't get possible error 1600...

Just disconnected the iphone and held the power and home screen it rebooted then came back as if nothing happened.

I could not quit QuickPwn directly I had to force quit the program.

All my data etc still active so not sure if the hassle of problems is worth trying to jailbreak again.

So you have iPhone with proper sim card ?
Don't fix it unless it's broken...

When I placed the iphone back into the cradle it looks like it does not always make a connection as it "rocks" and the charging symbol goes out..... this is suspect was the problem.

    Am trying again now.

    Heres hoping

retried with an elastic band to hold the iphone and plug together and went as smoothly as I could have hoped, everything looks great and seems to be in order.

Many Many thanks for being at the end of the line.

Will drop some cash into the coffers to keep this site up and running.
