you got to be kidding me.
    Thats frigging pure hell.

Besides you say SSH to your iphone. Wifi isnt working neither is 3G or GPRS unless you sign up for a really costlly package.
So that kind of kills that.

Wouldnt it be way simpler if quickpwn allowed us to manually run bootnuter ?

@lamenodedios : my wifi was working fine under 1.1.4. Since i upgraded to 2.1 and QuickPwn, it cannot detect any Access Point. I tried all possible BootNeuter combinations...and it still would not work !

@wnjunkie : use iPhone Tunnel Suite 2.7 to winSCP to your iPhone, since you have no wifi : it worked fine for me.

I am not sure it is a BB problem : i followed Alvin83 guidelines to downgrade my bb to 04.04.05_G and it did NOT solve my wifi problem. I then used BootNeuter to bring my BB back to 04.05.04...and still no wifi !! (By the way, Alvin83 did help me extremely kindly with the procedure)

    If its any help
Every time I try to run Boot nuter as part of Quick Pawn it doesnt do anything it just runs in auto mode says everything is ok and exits.

I have tried DFU modes back to 2.0.2 and then quick Pawn all the way to 2.2

    Model: MA712LL
    Wi-Fi Address= 00:1E:C2:44:EC:XX
    Modem Firm Ware: 04.05.04_G
    Firmware 2.2
The only time I saw a Wi-Fi Router was when I loaded Dynolicius. After which it vanished again.

I am pretty sure its got something to do with a setting file.
    Or my carier.

Again I request Quick Pawn guys please let us manually run boot nuter.

Im thinking I should dump QuickPawn and go back to Pawnage tool or are they one and the same ?

Since I dont seem to be getting any response to repeated requests to allow us to control bootnuter in quickown

Think maybe its time to try zipphone it seems to even have an option to fix wi-fi.

So far what I have understood we need to run bootnuter and switch stuff on and off.

Question is how do we get bootnuter onto the phone.
Am not able to use iphone tunnel suite it fails with an error msg.

Guess because I don't have ssh on the phone.
So either the Dev Team come up with a fix wi-fi option like zipphone has or allow us to manually control bootnuter.
    Or add some advanced options.
5 tries to download winpawn and no luck.

You could try downgrading BootLoader with
    KiPhone, http://iphone-freak.com/en/page1/page1.html

And upgrading again with a DFU restore
but unlocking with BootNeuter from Wifi
    if its working.

Guys - stop complaining about the Quickpwn people - they're doing a great job.
Furthermore - why do you think there are 2 versions? QUICKpwn for someone with standard unlocking/jailbreaking/... needs and PwnageTool for all the others with further needs...
    Like running Bootneuter manually!!!
Just untick the "uninstall Bootneuter" box in the expert mode and you'll get what you want.

    well it was quickpwn.

The solution is quite simple you dont need to burn 5 days going all the way back and forth. From 1.1.4

You just get hold of winpwn forget about what version you have on the phone.

Run winpwn in expert mode (I dont think this really matters).
I ran winpwn with the 2.0.02 firmware thats the last version it suports. Even though my phone had 2.1 on it from quickpwn.

Let winpawn do its thing. It will reach a point where it says ready to load custom ipsw thru itunes.
First time I restard it I got the USB cable with the conect to itunes.
Just do a few headrests and it comes up working with your old firmware. And all your apps intact.
Dont ask me how it worked but it did.
Im now on day 3 with full wi-fi and no problems.

Yeah they are doing a good job. but This problem should be recognized. Instead of blaming zipphone. Or keeping quiet on the issue.

I was this close to placing an order for a new comboard for 150$
But didnt cause my gut kept telling me it was a s/w issue.
