Default [Problem][2.1 to 2.2] Iphone could not be restored, unknown error 14?

I'm trying to upgrade a 2.1 phone unlocked with WinPwn to 2.2 / QuickPwn. iTunes refuses to restore it and give an "unknown error 14". The iPhone itself is now stuck at the connect to iTunes screen.

I haven't had any luck searching.

    Anyone have any ideas?

...and it worked using my desktop. I guess I was worried over nothing.

    Thanks for the suggestion.

I'm having the same issue. I've tried 2 PC, one running Vista and the other XP. Both have iTunes 8.0.2

Each time I do a restore, it errors out with error 14.

I can however do a shift-restore to factory 2.1 without issues when QuickPwn it. Everything works.

But I would like the 2.2 update.

I even tried shift-restore to factory 2.1, DFU then shift-restore to factory 2.2. Still error 14.

    Any ideas?

    Thanks.
