I have this problem I upgraded my iPhone 2G to 2.2.1 firmware then I ran QuickPwn to jailbreak and unlock, and in the unlocking phase it hangs in DETERMINING CURRENT SETTINGS so I restored it to 2.2.1 again and I just jailbroked it, without unlocking it.
And I see that modem firmware remains 04.05.04_G
Any ideas of what can be wrong obviously I can't make or recieve calls, I do have WiFi.
