[Question] How to unlock my iPhone?

Hi Everyone!
I had this great idea to use one phone in Canada-US-Hungary instead of the three I do now,so my friend gave me a 1st gen iPhone with still AT&T plan on it.I wanted to buy those 30$ programs,but after finding so much negative feedback I turned to you guys.Not being familiar with this kind of stuff,still managed to use quickpwn,and have the Cydia and the Installer logos on my phone,but my legs getting shaky from here.I put my T-mobile card in and have that emerg. slide and the connect to iTunes screen.If I put back AT&T -s card,works fine,but I would like to unlock it.
Does anybody have patience to explain the next steps?
