I got some advice that it would be OK to updade to 3.0 in iTunes, so I did. I now have the "unsupported SIM" message in iTunes, and the USB graphic on the phone. I know - I should have done better research - flame me.
Anyone know what my pathway back to 2.2.1 is, or the activation for 3.0?
I have iTunes 8.2 currently, but have found the old iTunes archives, and all the old iPhone firmwares.
I tried:
1. DFU mode and a Shift+Restore in iTunes but get Error 20.
2. Quickpwn 222-5 but it doesn't like the 3.0 FW. Refuses to restore an ealier FW.
