iPhone 1G crashes on SIM insert

Hello everyone

This is my first post here, since i wanted to ask some help.
I have searched for this issue and have only found 1 topic, also on this forum, but it did not really clarify my problem.

My Iphone crashes nearly instantly when i insert my SIMcard (not an official carrier).
I insert it, tries to search for signal, and then crashes
after the crash it restarts and the battery shows 10% battery left, even tho it was fully charged before i put my sim in.
i take my sim out again, restart and everything works again, and battery indicates full again.

my Iphone specs are:
FW 2.2.1 (5H11)
model MA712LL (1G iPhone 8GB)
modem FW 04.05.04_G

If more info is needed i'll give it

It's jailbroken and unlocked with Quickpwn 2.2.5-2

I have tryed alot, different programs etc, i have no clue how to fix this issue.
One last thing: I do not have Wifi at home
