i am using windown Vista, and itune 8... when i download the firmware 2.1 and upgrade it. it gave me the error after verifing restore iphone. do i need to do anything to fix this problem?

download itunes 8.2 ,,, put the phone in dfu mode , then it will work

now it should be firmware 2.2. You can jailbreak your iPhone 2g using Quickpwn windows version 2.2.

i can't upgrade to 2.1.. somehow it gave me the error message 1011. However i just go ahead run QuickPWN to unlocked it, it did everything and stucked at the sceen "determining current running". i tried it so many time, it still have the same problem. Now i try to downgrade it to 1.1.4 using itunes 7.5... it tooks me 4 hours but still not done yet. Can you tell me how to unlocked the phone with firmware 1.1.4...or how can i upgrade to 2.1 and unlocked it.

You can download the ibrick, conect the iphone to computer, and the scren on the iphone shuld turn red, and then you shoud rebot your iphone, and it wil work

error 1011 ...that is very bad.....
did you iphone work before the 2.1 update????

but nothing happens

it was 2.2 while try to unlock it just got stuck and now nothing happens
