Default Iphone does not boot after master reset

I went ahead and did a master reset on my Iphone which already had the latest version of quickpwn but the phone wont boot up. I did this because the phone was unlocked and jail broken but it would not pull up its GUI after quickpwn. It would let me make phone calls through the emergency slide but that it.Now my phone seems like its stuck trying to boot. What I see is the pineapple logo and in the backgroud the circle that you normally see when when a video is loading from youtube so in other words it seems stuck.

The "master reset" - meaning resetting the iPhone from withing "Settings" always let you stuck when the iphone is jailbroken and Cydia installed.
Disconnect iPhone and PC, shut the iPhone down by holding Start/Sleep and Home until it shuts dowm. On the Mac/PC start iTunes 8.0.2. Then on the iPhone press and keep holding Home button while you connect it to the PC/Mac - keep holding home intil iTunes findes an iPhone in recovery mode. Let go of Home and restore in iTunes.

Resetting all setting only makes sense if you are up to sell the iPhone and dont want anyone beeing able to recover data with forensic tools from the iPhone. To fresh start a DFU restore is recommended instead when you are keeping the iPhone.
