Empty homescreen after bootneuter?
Hi. I just quickpwned my 2g iphone, to 2.0.2 firmware. It worked all the way, but then I installed bootneuter from cydia to unlock the phone. It told me it had to reboot to shutdown commcenter, so I let it to do it. After rebooting, the only thing I get is an empty homescreen. No icons on the top, no icons on the bottom. The only things I see on the homescreen is the no signal indicator, wifi connected, time and battery symbols on top, and the grey dotted bottom. The iPhone gets locket if I press the power button, and I can unlock it sliding the button.
What can I do from here?
Why are you using 2.0.2 firmware?
I say you DFU and put firmware 2.1 on the phone.
Use quickpwn to jailbreak & activate phone.
Then use bootneuter to unlock

I am trying to unlock this iphone.
I have read hundreds of posts on hundreds of forums, including here, and cannot for the life of me fathom out this one.
I have just DFU'd and gone to 2.1 in itunes 8, and then quickpwn'd.
Now just installed bootneuter from cydia and tried to run it.
Bootneuter opens and runs the current settings check and then tells me the iphone cannot make or receive calls contact apple?!?
It then reboots the iphone and back to the beginning.
I have tried to DFU to 5 other .ipsw's and then winpwn2.5 or quickpwn, these do not work either.
WiFi and everything else seems to work just fine.
All I want to do is get the phone bit working :-|
If anyone has any ideas on how this can be acheived I would be greatful to hear back.
BTW I have in the past used 1.1.4 and anySIM to great effect on my previous iphones, maybe this is what I should do with this one?
version; 2.1 (5F136)
serial 888304 (first 6 digits)
If those help....
