Dev Teams Logic with Boot Nuter in QuickPawn
Ive asked this question again and will keep asking it till I get a responce.
What is the logic in removing bootnuter after its run in quickpawn.
Pawnage tool was smarter it let you chose if you want to remove it or not.
This is insanity.
What if somebody has to or wants to fakeblank so that they can run swifi the advise given is take it back to 1.1.4
WOuld it not be simpler to to just leave bootnuter there in quickpawn. Then the user can fakeblank and run swifi ?
Or is the real reason that they want you to downgrade your baseband and only then run swifix ?
Here is what I am trying.
a. Unzip the files in quickpawn open the bootnuter zip file mod the auto run script and turn the self destruct to no.
For some reason it still removes boot nuter.
Can somebody give me the code that would allow bootnuter to fakeblank as part of the quickpawn process ?

It is only a security thing. As you said, you can use PwnageTool to have a custom firmware with BootNeuter on if you need to.
As you may know, interrupting a BootNeuter run can seriously damage your iPhones baseband. I could think of someone showing his shiny iPhone to friends, one of them starting BootNeuter......bummm
to me, auto-deleting it after the first run (=unlcok) makes sense
just my 2 cent

If you have Cydia, you can always put bootneuter back on.

QuickPwn as its name implied a quick/easy/no frill application. If you want flexiblity, customization then use PwnageTool (only for Mac). There is no reason anyone wants you to downgrade BB.

Why make so complicated. Just JB the device with quickpwn, then use cydia to download bootneuter.

If it was that simple would I really bother asking.
This is for the hundreds if not thousands of people with no wifi trying to run bootnuter so they can fakeblank and then swifi
You will next say why not use a cable to put boot nuter onto the phone via cydia auto install well I did and it wont show up in spring board. Its there in the Applications directory with Cydia and a few other apps. All the permissions are right. But it wont show up.
And assuming you can still pull it off swifi tool hangs.
If you restart commenter and quickly run swifi it says restoring from backup.
What backup ?
Anyway still not even sure if swifi can be run on 2.x or was it only developed for 1.x firmware.
In this particular phones case just want to run boot nuter so fake blank can be turned off.
