has anyone tried this with 3.0? I just tried to transfer a copy of my SMS database from a backup (using the iPhone Backup Extractor and Phoneview). However, when I transfered the SMS database, the text messages showed up perfectly. However, when I hit 'Send' after typing a new text message, the application closed. i rebooted and it still did it....what might i be doing wrong?

i cannot restore my sms.db from a backup of 3gs/3.1 to 3gs/3.0.1. i wonder if there was a db structure change between the 3.0.1 and 3.1 versions.. i had a problem with my headset jack and the apple store replaced my phone with one which still had the 3.0.1 (which I promptly jailbroke) but cannot recover the SMS messages from the 3.1/sms.db... attempts to copy (with correct mode) the backup 3.1/sms.db result in a reinitialized db file with zero content. i can revert to the 3.0.1/sms.db fine. any ideas? (i can read message records from both files using isqlite3)
