Default [2.1]Problems with address book on update

    Hi everyone,
i have just updated my iphone 2g from 1.1.4 to 2.1 using the quickpwn...

before that i had my sms, callhistory, photos and addressbook backed-up using winscp so i could transfer then to to the iphone again...

after all the process i connected to iphone using SSH again and transfered all the files.. sms callhistory and the photo worked just as on 1.1.4 but the address book didnt appear on the contact screen..

is there any diference from the 1.1.4 addressbook.sqlite.db to the same 2.1 file?

and the other problem is that i dont have the itunes backup to try something else =/

I did the exact same thing with the same end result. I explored the 2 db files and the 2.1 db has a few extra tables that weren't present on 1.1.4.

strange. I'm sure my contacts came across ok from 1.1.2 when I upgraded. what I did notice however was it took forever for the contacts to be displayed under the contacts button but it was normal under the phone contacts section. sounds like a different problem though if you waited long enough to see if they appeared. did you look in the phone book though?

any further info? different format? i was thinking about jumping from 1.1.2 to 2.2 and, before that, do a complete backup via ssh... but now it sounds a bit useless...

777 on addressbook.sqlite.db file seems to help
looks like my contact file from 1.1.2 can be read in 2.2
