Default "2.0.2 to 2.1" Is it worth?

Hi guys I have a pwned (using winpwn 2.5) i phone on 2.0.2 firmware (originally 1.1.4), it is unlocked and i am using it with T-mobile. I want to upgrade it to 2.1 firmware, but can someone answer 3 of my questions?
    1. What are the advantages of upgrading to 2.1 from 2.0.2, what are the differences/improvements apple have made

    2. Will I have errors like others do. I have heard some people are getting errors when trying to connect itunes to their iphones. and cydia crashing... I mean is it worth switching now with those glitches still out there? maybe someone who had 2.0.2 and switched to 2.1 can answer this question better.

    3. Are there enough applications on cydia and installer already for firmware 2.1 or the ones from 2.0.2 still shows up on 2.1 in cydia and works as well?

    ZAK

I never had 2.0.2, but I just went from 2.0.1 to 2.1 and I'm quite pleased. I noticed a significant improvement in battery life (had to charge every other day on 2.0.1, now I'm back to charging every third day on 2.1 like I was with 1.1.4). I haven't needed to respring as often on 2.1 - Cydia is able to place new icons on the springboard without restarting it now.

I haven't had any issues with iTunes, but Cydia still has an occasional crash or hang (usually seems to be when loading ads or something on a package description).

The only new Apple feature is Genius playlists. It just seems to be slow for me, and while kinda interesting, not terribly useful for the smallish amount of music I have on my phone.

Everything I used in Cydia on 2.0.1 has worked in 2.1 (OpenSSH, Veency, Cycorder, Finder, Winterboard, NES, BossPrefs, a few other command line apps). I think application compatibility between releases should be stable now that Apple has to maintain firmware compatibility with the App Store apps. I can't see them putting out an incremental upgrade that would break App Store apps.

thanks man I'll upgrade it to 2.1 when I get home tonight but I need to know what should I do. I have 2.0.2 unlocked/ jailbroken for tmobile. Now should I just upgrade using custom ipsw or should I restore to stock 2.1 first and then restore t with a custom ipsw? Do I need to put it in dfu mode or I shouldn't ?

    heck yeah
with 2.1 you can backup much much quicker
also itunes apps now sync up much better too

as for speed increase, battery increase, those are all lies
but 2.1 is still worth it just because it sync much faster and the app sync up properly now.

plus 8.0 itunes now has genius playlist which rocks
with 2.1 you can create a genuis playlist on the fly and its almost always unique if you ahve enough songs on your fone.
