Unhappy [1.1.4 to 2.1 to 2.2] WIFI and Bluetooth only greyed out

    Here is the scenario

I have an iPhone previously unlocked in 1.1.4 then which was mistakenly updated with iPod restore image (2.1)

Then it was again restored to proper 2.1 2G iphone firmware and pwned with Quickpwn Windows. The phone didn't have wifi and bluetooth but cell functions worked.

I did a DFU restore to 2.2 again same problem. Downgrading to 1.1.4 and the baseband to the match the firmware, still the wifi was greyed.

Then, I did a DFU to 2.2 and run Quickpwn and bootnueter again still the problem persists.

What seems to be the problem?

Not sure if this has to do anything with it but when synching the phone after the firmware has been restored, have u set it up as a new phone or used a backup which was there?

The same thing happened to me but just only the wifi.
    I went back to 1.1.4
After a couple of days it started working.
Now its in 2.2. working fine.

I am having a similar problem where the wifi is grayed out and the mac address is not showing for my iPhone FW 2.2. For those of you that were able to downgrade to 1.1.4, do you mind sharing the steps to do that? You may PM me so as not to hijack this thread. I am very new to the iPhone scene. Thanks.
