    Guys, the situation is terrible....

    I have 3 windows laptops with me ....

    One with itunes 7.5 , one iTunes 7.7 and one with 7.8....

    rite now all i jus want is to use my iPhone ,...be it in 1.1.4 or 2.0 or 2.1///

    please suggest

    Alright,,,after a million tries...

    I finally have an iPhone which is abck to 1.1.4.

    Now, I have unlocked, jailbroken and activated from iLiberty.....


    Now what to do to upgrade to already ipsw custom of 2.0

    Can i directly restore it with DFU mode.....

    If - after all fiddeling around - the iPhone is no longer pwnaged you have to be in DFU mode to restore to your custom 2.0 fw. Are you sure the file is ok?

    100 percent sure on the file....

    Just one thing ...while unlocking using iLiberty the process is stuck at install cydia -->Relocating fonts,,,

    Is it ok reboot the iPhone at this stage.....been over 5 mintues at this point alone

    it actually finished relocating fonts now....took about 8 mintues just on this....OMG

    Did you interrupt the process?????

    You are jumping way to fast. Are you at firmware 1.1.4 now, jailbroken, activated and unlocked? Whats the baseband you have? Check in Settings.

    If you push things, you'll be stuck againg,

    Ok...i am unlocked, activated and Jailbroken at 1.1.4

    Now i have put the iPhone in DFU.....sure on this....

    put it on Shift + Restore to the custom ipsw of FW2.0

    failed with 1602 error....

    luckily i am now out in Normal mode..

    i think i should sit on 1.1.4, than again messing up the whole thing for a 2.0...

    what say ?????
