    Default Boot Loop after ReQuickPwn

Ran into this boot loop issue and I was able to get past this problem with the information included in the first post and DiskAid (I just renamed the bundle long enough for Springboard to go through apps without Watchdog's interruption). Worked with PhoneView too (used it the second time when I had the same problem after adding back all my jailbroken apps with the apt backup utility -- renaming folders is kind of buggy in Diskaid).

Actually registered just to say - thanks. This seems to still apply. My first attempt at updating, re-jailbreaking and restoring - what a palava! aptbackup resulting in Permanent Pineapple Syndrome caused me a lot of head scratching - but this post saved me from a whole lot more.

Edit: WTH? This is the first forum I've seen where the thread display spontaneously switches to some awful reverse order top-posting type arrangement

I hope this thread still gets some action...

but i have a question, will this workaround likely work if my phone is getting stuck on the slide screen and NOT the apple logo screen, after trying to install a bad cydia app?

    If not, any suggestions?

    THanks all
