[winpwn] iphone Boots straight to recovery
Hi @ all,
I used winpwn at the normal way, I used a ziphone - Jailbreaked/activated/unlocked and BL downgraded iphone 1.1.4. I used winpwn to activate it and install the Installer and the Bootlogos, after that I used the Bootneuter app from the installer and upgraded my BL back to 4.6-non_FakeBlank. After that I deinstalled the Bootneuter app, and maked a new Custom firmware with winpwn, with the actual BL 4.6.
Now when I sometimes reboot my Device, it boots up stright into Recovery
. Can anyone please help me out, or did anyone here have the same Prob ?
...tHX in advance !

First of all you DON'T need ZiPhone at all with pwnage!
It sounds like the problem is winpwn - it is beta and doesn't always create working IPSW files...IF you used different images they may cause an error.
Just make a new custom firmware with the standard bootlogos and try it and I am sure it will work!
iPhone US 8GB
FW 1.0.2--> iUnlock--> iPhoneSIMfree--> 1.1.1 --> 1.1.2--> Soft upgrade 1.1.3 --> 1.1.4 using signal.app
iPhone UK 16GB
FW 1.1.3 OOB --> 1.1.4 --> iPlus 1.2 unlocked!
<----If I helped you out, rep points are always nice (thanks for that idea!)

yea it boots up straight into recovery, and I use NO custom bootimages :/

I tryed many apps to kick out from recovery like iLiberty+ and the iBooter with the cmds : setenv auto-boot true and fsboot. But everytime I reboot again, it goes straight to recovery again ;(.
The last app I try was iBrickr, and after iBrickr kicks my iphone back from recovery, and I did a reboot again, my iphone Boots fine, I reboots my iphone now many times and no Boot to recovery. I hope that iBrickr fixes the Prob

If that didn't fix it I would just restore again.
Make a new custom firmware in winpwn using standard boot logos or using the mac version check all the unlock boxes but leave the bootloader alone.
The windows version will not have BootNeuter so won't do anything at all.
The mac version will load BootNeuter and say its already unlocked and doesn't need to do anything then reboot back to normal.

...thx, but I think iBricks fixed it. I try it with all my other logos, when iTunes is finish, with restoring my custom-fw, error6 and recovery is the result. After that I use iBrickr to kick out if Recovery, and after that my iphone boots fine.

Stop using different boot icons!
Error 6 is because of the images NOT being correct!
If you use the standard images you won't have that problem!

Well the cmd setenv auto-boot true, saveenv, fsboot commands worked for me both times i had this problem. and i sent them using iphone interface from the ibrickr app folder. But anyway glad you got it fixed.
