Dude, these settings are fine for jailbreaking, activating and unlocking... It will also flash the bootloader, and leave it so that the phone is completely usable...

Depending on what BL you have, you don't really need to go up or down...check on the back of your iphone for the serial number, as well what production week it was made in. Some users have reported that keeping the original bootloader that comes with the phone will determine better results.

Since my phone is week 35, I ticked to flash baseband, and also downgrade bootloader.. but since my phone was already 3.9, bootneuter on the phone displayed (no need to downgrade). But if you have just purchased your iphone recently, chances are you have the 4.6 BL... downgrading is completely up to you, but it doesn't make a difference (besides some users opinions). Hope this helps!

DO settings stay the same after repwn... dude, these options are mainly for bootneuter app... i say mainly because the activating/jailbreaking/unlocking is something entirely different. If you chose to go to a custom 1.1.4 (ie. u build it with winpwn again), it will be w.e. settings you give it here. When you just pwn the phone, it appears as if nothing happened, but it actually modified the ram disk to make it able to use custom firmwares....

Bootneuter app is just an application which you can get via installer, and will do exactly the same as in this program...This just makes the process a whole lot quicker and painless because you are able to configure bootneuter right from your pc.

The bootloader is exactly the same as when you bought it, which is a good thing... you need to select the neuter option as it neuters the bootloader, and the unlock option unlocks your baseband. The settings you selected are perfectly o.k.

Use iclarified.com to get started. It's a great site with tons of information. It gives you step by step on using winpwn, and the many options it has. Here is the link...

But yea, the options you selected will not upgrade/downgrade the current bootloader. THe neuter option is essential to a fully working iphone!

ahhhh...so the neuter option pretty much means "dont touch my bl"??? or does it mean it patches the bootloader with something so it can install non apple firmware?
