Default [Wifi] Isn't working after Pwnage

Hi Guys.. PLEASE HELP, I'M TOTALLY LOST.. I'm having the WiFi & SSH Problems since I pwned my iphone.. ex. can't ssh

I can't seem to use my home wifi but I can connect to others wifi.. I can't ssh into my iphone either..

I've search all over and found no instructions a newbie like myself could fully understand..

Please, can anyone give me really, really simple step by step instructions?

    I went to : http://www.iphonelinux.org/index.php/IBooter there, I downloaded:
iBooter for Mac & usb libraries
*it says I need to install these usb libraries in /usr/local/lib for it to work.
*how do I install it? where is /usr/local/lib?

100% Lost Please Help: I also went to: http://wikee.iphwn.org/sgold_bootrom:fixwifi
    1. Become fakeblanked by using BootNeuter (set FakeBlank to ON before selecting Flash).
***I don't have the BootNeuter Image on my iPhone .. I was able to download the app .. but as ssh doesn't work I can't get the app into my phone
    2. Download the archive swifi.zip, unzip it, and transfer it to your iPhone. You can either bundle it into a custom ipsw via PwnageTool, or use something like iphuc. Make sure swifi has execute permission (chmod +x swifi).
***how do I bundle it into a custom ipsw via PwnageTool
    3. Log into your iPhone via VT100 terminal application as root
    4. Unload your CommCenter (otherwise you'll probably see “Error 0xffffffff” from swifi).
    * launchctl unload /System/Library/LaunchDaemons/com.apple.CommCenter.plist
    * killall -9 CommCenter
    5. Run the swifi tool. It should complete in less than 3 seconds.
    6. If you've manually changed your wifi MAC address via ibooter, or if you've had your wifi MAC address changed on you by a buggy unlocker, change it back to its original value.
    7. If swifi reports “actions taken”, reboot your iPhone to use the new tables. You may also need to do “Settings→General→Reset→Reset Network Settings”

You don't need the wi-fi fix as its only if you wi-fi is GREYED OUT and doesn't work!

Your problem is simply fixed. Forget about any other method or you may actually break your wi-fi!

    FW 1.1.3 OOB --> 1.1.4 --> iPlus 1.2 unlocked!

There are two possible causes for your wi-fi connection issues. Did you install SSH as pwnage does NOT put it on your phone automatically!

First it could simply be the phone settings.

So RESET ALL SETTINGS by going to:

    Settings→General→Reset→Reset All Settings

The phone will reboot and then test your wi-fi. I am sure this will fix it.

I had a similar issue on my pwnaged phone and a reset sorted out the wi-fi issue.

I do however believe it is possible pwnagetool sometimes creates buggy custom restore files and that if your having any other strange issues - my safari bookmarks wouldn't save for example! Then restore using a NEW CUSTOM FIRMWARE.

I would make a new custom firmware and then restore again and if you do have any wierd issues that will fix those. Make sure you delete the old custom firmware as you don't want to use that again!

And in the future calm down if you have iPhone issues - if you relax its helps you find answers.

You will actually see that I mentioned a full settings reset in the FAQ if you have any strange issues after pwning!

As far as BootNeuter goes - you only get that if you chose unlock and neuter baseband when you make the custom firmware... but you only need it IF you want to unlock. I would recommend if your using it on an official network and don't want to unlock then assuming your already activated you should uncheck everything except activate and custom images. If you want to unlock then check update baseband, neuter bootloader, unlock and activate - and BootNeuter will appear with this option. But in your case you don't need it unless you want to unlock!

    Hey

First, go into iliberty and select the "jailbreak" button (it doesnt matter if your already jailbroken, all this does is enable AFC2)

If you are on windows, download "iPhone Browser" search google for it, its the top hit i think. Then, download BootNeuter from http://rapid$hare.com/files/104550195/BootNeuter.zip.html (replace the $ with an "s") copy bootneuter over to /Applications with iPhone Browser. also, download and extract the swifi fix and put it under /usr/bin
If you are on Mac, i dont think there are many usb browsers. So, i would open up pwnage. Click "browse .ipsw and open an original 1.1.4 ipsw (download one from http://www.appledailytimes.com/downl...rmware-files/). Next, make sure iphone is plugged into the computer and click "iPwner" this will patch your BL. It will only take about a minute (it does the same thing with white text scrolling down iphone like ziphone and iliberty do). Next, click "ipsw builder" to pwn an ipsw, it should ask to find the bootloaders bootneuter. download them from http://broomvideos.com/winpwn/bootloaders.zip. extract, and locate them in the PwnageTool thing. now tis time to get the swifi fix over there, so download it. You can put it into pwnage tool on mac, when it is preparing an ipsw it asks for your username and password. dont enter usernae and password, the OS should be mounted as a DMG. Copy over the swifi fixes, then enter your username and password. It will make a custom .ipsw for you. Open itunes, option+click restore and find your custom 1.1.4 ipsw. then restore to that .ipsw. that puts bootneuter.

Next, go into installer, and download the following files through edge or gprs (depending on the carrier)

    BSD Subsystem
    Term-vt100
    BSD Subsystem 2.0 termfix
    SUID Lib Fix

Now that you have done that, open term-vt100. [Bthe password is "alpine"[/B]

Next, if you put bootneuter on there with windows, type the following into term-vt100

    chmod u+s
    chown root:wheel
Next, we need to give swifi exec permissions (windows and mac)

    chmod +x /usr/bin/swifi
Now you have bootneuter and swifi with executable privileges.

Open bootneuter, toggle "fakeblank" to on, toggle "neuter" to on and unlock to "on" then click "flash" in the top right corner.

that might take a while, just DO NOT TURN IPHONE OFF DURING THIS

next, open term-vt100 once again and login with password "alpine" and if it asks for username it is root.

    Type exactly these commands:

    launchctl unload /System/Library/LaunchDaemons/com.apple.CommCenter.plist
    killall -9 CommCenter
    Then

    /usr/bin/swifi
And you should be done! I suggest pwning another 1.1.4 ipsw but not including all the extra crap and restoring to it. Hope this helps, just reply if i missed out something

She doesn't need to do that.

She is confused about what is actually wrong with her phone.

All that is happening is it is dropping wi-fi connections and having difficulty connecting which can be sorted by a reset all settings or at worst a restore to another custom firmware.

    Don't confuse her!
