Default Why does Pwnage slow down the iphone??

Ive noticed the difference from running the un-pwned apple firmware vs pwned firmware and no matter what version it is pwnage seems to slow apps down by like 3-5 seconds on start-up of the app. Notice mostly on apps like Cydia, Installer, Safari, settings, SMS..etc

Love having a Pwned phone for the customizing features but hate the lag!!

Mine is not lagging at all.

It is pwned to FW 2.0.1, but without Cydia -- only Installer dusting around.

Maybe its Cydia. Hopefully they will fix some of the crashes in installer and get some more Repo's soon.

I never had a problem with Cydia. (on 2.0 and now on 2.0.1)

Btw what version of FW do you use now ?
    2.0 is buggy...
2.0.1 is better (but not perfect yet)

I had a first gen phone pwned with Cydia and it was slow.
I restored to stock and it worked fine.
I have a 3G pwned with Cydia and installer. I tried something out and didn't open Cydia at all after I pwned for several days (it never set itself up). During this period I used installer, which, aside from its other bugs, did not slow down the phone overall. I pop open Cydia once and within minutes i'm greeted with the familiar sluggishness.
I restored that one to stock, and guess what? It's fine.

There is undoubtedly something about Cydia that affects the iPhone's OS negatively (at least on 2.0).

    Thumbs up

With FW2.0, Pwnage 2.0 and Cydia my iPhone was running like a ruptured pig.

Now with 2.01, 2.0.2 and no Cydia it's absolutely flying and the battery is lasting an age. I'm well pleased...

Is it possible to remove Cydia from my already pwnaged phone without having to run pwnage tool all over again?

I've noticed a lag in my phone too and don't really use Cydia to install packages. Plus I can always install it again later when they have more apps...
