Default upgrading from 1.1.4 to 2.0.x

Thank you for your reply Jon_slider!

I will NOT be upgrading yet until i can successfully do it via Pwn. On a different note how do i change the APN settings on the iphone so i can access internet and email via GPRS. On the 1.1.4 you don't have the option you have on the 2.x to change the data settings.
I do remember seeing somewhere online about SSH and changing the settings in two files. Can anyone shed some light on this please? Desperately missing the internet and email on my iPhone!

    Thanks in advance

    > can someone please tell me in no uncertain terms as to whether or not updating my firmware from 1.1.4 to 2.0.1 on my 2g iphone that is unlocked

    > if it will lock the phone and not even allow my pay and go sim to work (is this what bricked means) then i'd like to know.

Do NOT upgrage, it WILL make your iPhone NOT work with your O2 pay as you go. It will make your phone need Activation to a new account, With a contract.

Unless you Pwn your phone, which will unlock it again..

Upgrading to 2.x has NO Merit at all. Anything you can do with 2.0, after jumping through hoops, you can already do with 1.1.4

Uh, 2.x has some nice features if you are using your phone on a corporation: Cisco VPN capabilities, and Exchange/Push features. AppStore is a bonus.

I have a Windows 2003 SP2 Server running Exchange 2007. What is the full kit list of software and features I need in order to enable the iPhone to have full access to email, using Outlook (OWA)? I have 100 users.
