Updating 3.0 3GS to 3.1+ without updating baseband?
Hey Guys,
I have a 3.0 3GS unlocked with Ultrasnow and I was wondering if there was a safe way to update to 3.1 or 3.1.2 without updating the baseband.
I know Blacksnow is out but I would rather keep my baseband as is, "if its not broke don't fix it ya know?" Especially since there is no added benefit of updating the BB.
The reason is because there are some apps I want to use that require at least 3.1.
What should I do?
Thanks

iClarified - iPhone - How to Jailbreak Your iPhone 3G on OS 3.1.2 Using PwnageTool (Mac)
If you are on windows, because you are already jailbroken, you can still use a custom ipsw created by pwnagetool. Because you can't make the ipsw yourself you have to google for an ipsw that someone else has made.
