I had previously pwned my iPhone with pwnagetool 1.0 and installed the previous 2.0 beta with no problem. After some issues with the beta, I restored 1.1.4, also with no problem.
With pwnagetool 1.1, I ran iPwner on 1.1.4 so I would be able to install thr beta and then pwned the 2.0 beta 3 firmware and attempted to install it on my 1.1.4 phone. The firmware update process never got off the ground - it stalled on the apple logo and eventually failed. This left the phone stuck in recovery mode.
I then tried to restore to 1.1.4, and this got through the restore process but ended with an error code and left the phone in recovery mode again. I was able to get it out of recovery mode by using ZiPhone's jailbreak. I am still not able to restore to 1.1.4 or install any pwned firmware made with the 1.1 pwnagetool. Restoring with DFU mode also results in the phone being stuck in recovery mode, regardless of the version of firmware uses and regardless if its a factory ipsw file or a pwned ipsw file.
Anybody have any clues about how I should go about bringing this phone back to a factory 1.1.4 install? The phone is an original release iPhone with the original bootloader (not 4.6).
