Default Need help too on iPhone 4 iOS 4.3.3

    Hello Frank,

I am using iPhone 4 iOS 4.3.3 and I am currently working in Laos and when someone calls/SMSs it doesn't show the name but the number 02011111111 & +8562011111111. I have tried what you helped Laoboy but it didn't work, I think it's because of the iOS matter. Could you help me fix it to (020) 1111-1111 & +856 (20) 1111-1111.

    Thanks a lot.

    Patrick.

    Hi Frank,

I am in Turkey, I have iOS 5.0 installed and I installed your format fix for iOS 5.
But it is still not showing caller ID correctly.
Can you please help me. Thanks.

    For Laos with iOS 5.x
    Save original file:
    /System/Library/PrivateFrameworks/AppSupport.framework/Default.phoneformat
    substitute with:
    https://rapidshare.com/files/1397678...lt.phoneformat
    check file permissions = 644 (owner:rw- group:r-- world:r--) should already be
    and restart.

Turkey is not included in format fix because the standard version seems to work
    and is very simple

Area code / mobile: 3 digits
    Subscriber number: 7 digits
    Trunk prefix: 0
    International prefix: 00

If your iPhone is factory unlocked you should have no problems with caller ID.

Format fix of post #848 is already included in:
CallerID-Format Fix iOS 5.x (Cydia Localization)

If you prefer to manually replace the file then the latest version can be found in post #918

    Default happy new year everyone!

    hello Frank,

is it possible to fix the format for Cyprus? or divert me to the right direction to fix it myself ?

the numbers here should look like the following:

    +357 2x xxxxxx for landlines
    +357 9x xxxxxx for mobiles

(ie. country code, space, 2digits, space, six digits)

Landlines are separated into the following categories:
+357 22 xxxxxx is Nicosia landline
+357 23 xxxxxx is Famagusta landline
+357 24 xxxxxx is Larnaca landline
+357 25 xxxxxx is Limassol landline
+357 26 xxxxxx is Paphos landline

this City information is probably not in the PhoneFormats file but do you know where this info can be added ??
