It works in missed calls but crashing biteSMS and stock apple app for messaging, I'm from Serbia +381 (64) number format. Any additional info you need?
I installed Caller ID Fix beta, but biteSMS and Stock Apple Messaging app crashing...
Thanks for your help,
Try beta 3 for iOS 5.x
Save original file:
/System/Library/PrivateFrameworks/AppSupport.framework/Default.phoneformat
substitute with:
https://rapidshare.com/files/9666904...lt.phoneformat
check file permissions = 644 (owner:rw- group:r-- world:r--) should already be
and restart.
Thank you Frank8, beta3 wasn't crashing biteSMS nor Apple stock messaging app.
Thx Frank for all of ur hard work on this...
As i previously mentioned about number formatting in phonebook, i noticed that, if I save a number in +381 prefix (instead of a 0) the phone formating is good.. Also beta 3 doesn't fix this.. But everything else is working great..
Without more explaining, here are the screenshots
Just trying to be helpful, to iron out the bugs..
Just tried it out, so far everything seems to be working perfectly, SMS app is no longer crashing and the numbers get recognized when tapping the blue callout button/for incoming calls etc. If I notice any other bugs I'll let you know, Thanks again for everything, iOS 5 wouldn't have been the same without your fix![]()

Thanks Frank for your hard work. SMS app is no crashing anymore.
Hello Frank,
Your Beta 3 fix has no crashes anymore. However it has broken my country's number formatting that you had fixes us back in 4.xx
country is Sri Lanka - LK
following should me formatting templates. Please kind enough to do the changes
Landlines :
format (0##) ###-#### , (##) ###-#### (+94) ## ###-####
mobiles :
if code = 777 , format (0777) ###-### , (777) ###-### , +94 (777) ###-###
otherwise format (07#) ###-#### , (7#) ###-#### , +94 (7#) ###-####
Thanks!
