    Hi Frank

    Great work as usual!

I've got a 3GS on v4.0.1 yesterday. I'm from Pakistan and you had given an amazing solution for my 3G. Now when I open Cydia, I can't locate the Caller ID Format Fix for FW 3.x. I've searched and searched but can't get it. Please help.

    Thanks

I tried now to successfully reinstall "CallerID-Format Fix FW 3.x" from iSpazio (ispaziorepository.com/) as before ,
it could change in future to BigBoss repository but should be transparent.

    Hello everybody!

My phone is 3GS on 4.0.1 FW, T-mobile Croatia.
From yesterday, with no particular reason the phone stopped to display country prefix, but only for landlines.
Calls from other cellphones and txt messages are ok. displaying correctly.

instead of +385 (1) xxxxxx numbers are displayed +1 (xxx) xxx-x
or another example +385 (42) xxxxxx is displayed +42xxxxxx

Copied file "default.phoneformat" what I've found here on forum, but still nothing changed. Also tried with Caller ID fix from Cydia but no success..

    Please if someone can help!
    Thanks !

    Hi, Frank!
I live in Moscow, Russia. By default I have number formatted like this +7 (XXX) XXX-XX-XX in my iPhone 4 (iOS 4.1 w JB). I've set up Google Sync! Synchronization and got a problem with my other mobile phones. Numbers are transferred with () and . My Nokia don't understand these symbols in phone number. What file I must substitute in iPhone to get formatting like +7XXXXXXXXXX?

    Thank you,
    Nick

    To display unformatted Russian numbers
    save original file:
    /System/Library/PrivateFrameworks/AppSupport.framework/Default.phoneformat
    substitute with:
    http://rapidshare.com/files/42987395...oneformat.html
    check file permissions = 644 (owner:rw- group:r-- world:r--) should already be
    and restart.

May be that the unformatted synchronization works only for new contacts or those that have changed and saved.

    Heya Frank,

I have troubles with grouping SMSs for short number 8000 in Russia - they are just going single. Also, I can't add this number to the address book - it still displays in numbers.

Can you advice what should I modify to fix this problem?
    Iphone 4, iOS 4.1.

    Thanks a lot in advance!

Sorry , I don't know the Russian SMS-Banking numbering , generally a set of numbers can not be automatically associated to a name.

The problem is not in a set of numbers, only one particular (8000). It formats in iPhone as 8 (000) and doesn't allow grouping messages.
