    New rules for Sri Lanka ,

    landlines :
    format (0xx) x xxx-xxx , +94 (xx) x xxx-xxx

    mobiles :
    if code = 777 , format (0777) xxx-xxx , +94 (777) xxx-xxx
    otherwise format (07x) xxx-xxxx , +94 (7x) xxx-xxxx

    save original file:
    /System/Library/PrivateFrameworks/AppSupport.framework/Default.phoneformat
    Substitute with:
    RapidShare: 1-CLICK Web hosting - Easy Filehosting
    (check file permissions = 644) and restart.

    Thanks a Lot Dear Frank.!

    Default

    ON 2.x I made my own formats on UIDefaultFormats.phoneformat, I add the rules and fortmat at the end and modify the US pointing to the new ( I am using english US) region format (date an other strings), so the previous pointing offset needs to add 0x0A78, now with Default.phoneformat I dont know what is the difference to add in the offset, and I see some comentaries in the file, the previous version did not have those, so I am wondering that the whole ruleset is change.

    I am trying to copy the MX formats but used with the US.

    In Default.phoneformat (FW3.0) the rules are at address 0x9E8 ,
    free space begin at 0xD264 , the jump is 0xC87C (0x7C , 0xC8) .
    For MX and US the rules are substantially identical to FW2.x
    and commentaries are garbage in unused spaces.

    Please make a small update for Ukraine:
    instead of
    if (X >= 5650 and X <= 5679) maxL=10
    there must be
    if (X >= 5650 and X <= 5669) maxL=10

    i.e. correct format is 8 (056) 7XX-XX-XX

    Yes , Costa Rica looks like Panama 3.0 , +(506) xxxx-xxxx , +(507) xxx-xxxxx

    Set Costa Rica in Settings->General->International->Region Format->Spanish

    or , if you prefer english calendar , use method explained in post #680 with:
