Hi, Frank! I tryed to modify phoneformat from 2.2 myself, but no success Can u add 2 more rules for formatting 3 and 4 digit service numbers for ru section (### and ####), and disable prefix and area code matching for 11-digits numbers (only matching by last 7 digits in case of +7 XXX 1234567 or 8 XXX 1234567)?

    Hi Frank
    It works for Armenia!
In case you decide to do formatting as well it is as follows:
    +374 (##) ##-##-## for intl.
    (0##) ##-##-## for local.
I did for intl. but didn't manage for local.

    Greatly appreciate your work!!!

Frank, thanks for all you effort! And thanks for releasing Caller-ID Fix for 2.2.

However this does not solve my problem
My provider adds an extra "0" to all incoming calls. I live in Sweden so the country is supported by the phone, but since I get the extra "0" the number will not be translated correctyl
If I change all my contacts to +46-xx instead of local number format it will show up correct in the SMS list but not for incoming calls.. And vise versa.

I solved this in all previous versions by only modifying the PhoneNumberTemplates.plist.

Now, as we all know that doesn´t work with 2.2

    Please help!

This is what the PhoneNumberTemplates.plist file looked liked when it worked on 2.1:

    <key>se</key>

Last 7 digits is not possible,

however actually if you save a number as 777-77-77 (don't know if valid to call)
    and receive +7 (xxx) 777-77-77 or 8 (xxx) 777-77-77 , name appear.

a curiosity, if the number of digits in saved numbers is greater than the stated , trunk prefix doesn't work but any international prefix is valid to match name
It is done by region format indeed. AppSupport.plist is created based on the current SIM card MCC, using the MCC2CC.plist. It's only changed when the is a SIM Card changed trigger. That is why replacing the com.apple.AppSupport.plist works as it is not replaced, unless a SIM is replaced.

There is a trick to cause AppSupport to ignore the Regional Settings and ALLWAYS USE The value derived from the SIM Card/Network MCC (and that can be overriden by replacing the AppSuport plist): use the package "Net.-Local Number Formating" aka NLNF, that is on Cydia. It basically replaces the behavious from AppSupport from Regional Settings to Network MCC, and on 2.2 affects both the CallerID to name matching as well and Phone number formating.

I hope this helps in testing for new countries. Just add it and use the plist. I use NLNF for using the interface+Region in a language different from the current country.

I'm from Chile, and I have upgrated to 2.2, but the patch (get by Installer or Cydia) doesn't work.
Do you know if you can help me?
