    @docomar

May be you use a SIM-Adapter to unlock phone ?

if yes you need to edit a file :

    /System/Library/Frameworks/UIKit.framework/PhoneFormats/UIMobileCountryCodes.plist

You must add an entry to simulate that SIM-MCC 001 is Morocco:
    <key>001</key>
    <string>ma</string>

Frank, do you think you could help me out with a CallerID problem please?

Basically I'm in the UK using a SIM Adapter with an iPhone 3G 2.1.

    I have added
    ---
    <key>001</key>
    <string>uk</string>
    ---
    into UIMobileCountryCodes.plist
and am using your latest version of PhoneNumberTemplates.plist.

I have all my numbers saved as +44xxxxxxxxxx but whenever anyone calls me it shows up as 0xxxxxxxxx instead of the appropriate caller name. However, for text messages and under "Recents" it does correctly match the 0xxxxxxxxxx numbers with the caller names.

Any idea how I can fix this? Thanks in advance!

    Wuileng,

I have a similar information from Saudi Arabia
but for both countries I have not changed standard settings
    in PhoneNumberTemplates.plist

the difference is probably made from UIMobileCountryCodes.plist changes

and i don't understand why an incoming call is displayed
differently from a recent or a sms (should be same software)

    you can try this tests:
    1) restore original PhoneNumberTemplates.plist
    2) save contacts with xxxxxxxxxx or 0xxxxxxxxxx and look in recents
    3) uninstall CallerID Fix Collection

So, now that we have solved the caller id problem (thanks Frank8), how can we address the number formatting issue?

after all this is how this post started

Frank, I installed the new caller id 1.1.1, but the formatting for lebanon does not seem to work at all. The phone numbers are broken in the wrong places..... not as per the format listed above. for example:

    International +961
so, if you want to call my mobile you dial +961 3 xxx xxx or +961 70 xxx xxx, same with sms. Phone numbers are typically 6 digits.

    any help? Many thanks
