The Gevey SIM doesn't seem to be putting 001 in front of the number...it's just that the numbers come in differently if it's a call or an SMS. I think I probably need to edit the UIDefaultFormats.phoneformat to tell the phone that EITHER:

A number with +852 and then eight digits should be considered as only the eight digits, ignoring the +852.

OR

A number without +852 that is eight digits should have +852 in front of it.

Depending on which of those could be set up i'd have to change the number for my contact, including or excluding +852.

When I made the change to UIMobileCountryCodes.plist should I also have changed PhoneNumberTemplates.plist to include something about the 001?

YES!!!!

Scratch what I said before.
It worked....I just needed a new text to come in and a new call.

I've got my contacts stored with the +852 and it works now with the edited UIMobileCountryCodes.plist and the original PhoneNumberTemplates.plist. Man I'm dumb.

"CallerID Fix Collection" basically operate on two files

for 2.0.x :
PhoneNumberTemplates.plist and UIPhoneFormats.plist

for 2.1 :
PhoneNumberTemplates.plist and UIDefaultFormats.phoneformat

First file fix address book problems , the second number formatting

After installation you can change the second file with another
that you have personally generated.

About first file Uzbekistan fix is :
Country prefix --------- 998
Trunk prefix ------------ 8
International ---------- 810
Number length min --- 9
Number length max -- 9

If this is correct and you do not use SIM-Adapters should work

I was in JB today and tried to call back to SG and found out that 02 xxxx xxxx is not formatted. So I added this in the updated file.

Basically, it's using the same format as 03 xxxx xxxx.

Just got a quick question about this subject.

I'm currently in the UK - and have a 3G iPhone syncing with iTunes on Windows - Jailbroken and running the latest 2.1 Firmware.

I do a lot of busness with Norway - where their number system is as follows:

+47 ## ## ## ## for residential numbers
+47 ### ## ### for mobile numbers

My questions are two fold

Is it possible to edit the default and UK systems so that it uses that number format above - ie: +44 19 05 12 34 56

And will it intefere with correct dialing of numbers?
