    Hi Frank, I spent yesterday and today trying to understand this whole hex thing and edit UIPhoneFormats file but I just can't figure it out. Please help. I and everyone else in Macedonia will be grateful. Here are the formats I am looking, the info is from wikipedia:

    Numbering formats for the Republic of Macedonia (mk):

    +389 2 xxx xxxx geographic numbers - Skopje (capital)
    +389 3x xxx xxx geographic numbers
    +389 4x xxx xxx geographic numbers
    +389 5xx x xx xx premium, value added, shared revenue
    +389 7x xxx xxx mobile
    +389 8xx x xx xx freephone, shared cost

    if you call from outside of Macedonia or

    02 xxx xxxx geographic numbers - Skopje (capital)
    03x xxx xxx geographic numbers
    04x xxx xxx geographic numbers
    05xx x xx xx premium, value added, shared revenue
    07x xxx xxx mobile
    08xx x xx xx freephone, shared cost

    if you are calling from inside.

    Thank you in advance.

    I think you didn't fill everything in the gray fields, like the link to the numberformats! The final code on the last sheet should always return the numerformats in hex and I don't see them in your pasted code!!!

    like:
    X>= <= X Max lengt
    1 digit match
    0 9 4 str1 ---> first number format you entered!
    5 5 8 str2 ---> second numer format you enterd !

    And on the first sheet is a little manual :-)

    Hi JoVR

    Thanks for the help. However I still have a problem. My hex editor (xvi32) says that last address is 6134 and I can't add more data and that string I am entering is not valid hex string. I just copied your post and deleted the spaces that divide it in two columns.

    Thanks again.

    userOK,

    "CallerID Fix Collection" basically operate on two files

    for 2.0.x :
    PhoneNumberTemplates.plist and UIPhoneFormats.plist

    for 2.1 :
    PhoneNumberTemplates.plist and UIDefaultFormats.phoneformat

    First file fix address book problems , the second number formatting

    After installation you can change the second file with another
    that you have personally generated.

    About first file Uzbekistan fix is :
    Country prefix --------- 998
    Trunk prefix ------------ 8
    International ---------- 810
    Number length min --- 9
    Number length max -- 9

    If this is correct and you do not use SIM-Adapters should work
