[T-Zones and Pwnage 2.0] Is there an automated to get T-zones working?

On an interesting note, T-Zones seemed slow, if it functioned at all with 2.0 firmware.... T-Mobile Total Internet ($20/mo) seems to be MUCH faster and 100% reliable so far.

I find that with the 2.0 firmware, T-Zones works better. I modified the networking preferences myself. You never know what those BigBoss hacks do!

Just remember which ever method you choose (they all do the same thing just about) you have to reboot iphone and typically wait about 5m for tmobile to recognise you. Then it should work just fine. This is how it always works for me.

FYI, I chose to install though Cyndia (search for tzones)

Mainly the reason youtube doesn't work on edge is the fact that edge is incredibly slow. Though I remember a fix for 1.1.3/4 that let it work. Videos just took forever to load.

I just don't know how the BigBoss hack can work without replacing the entire Preferences.plist file and thus clobbering all the references to the name of one's iPhone, for example.

Actually we can fine out. Cyndia shows a debug console and it shows everything an install does.

And terminal has for a long time been able to open a text file. there is no reason bosshack can't open the plist and modify the correct portion of text.

I wonder how it could do that programmatically. It would be easier just to overwrite the file, which is what isn't a good idea.
