Default So the iPhone dev team's blog is dead. [No its not]

Personally although I respect that they want to please everyone they need to understand that the vast majority of their users are non 3g iphone users that are getting tired of waiting for the app. These people don't need the app to fulfill every one of their wildest dreams. They just want an app that allows them to upgrade their hacked phones to the 2.0 software. IMO Dev team should set the 3g iphone aside for a future update to pwnage and release the unlock for the 2.5g iphone as soon as they can.

Yes, this is my opinion, too.

So they could make the oldphone users happy, what is a big part of the cake!

    Yeah, that's totaly true.
I don't understand why they want to push the 3G unlock in the software from the beginning. This feature could be done in a future update, but letting the 2G Users realy sucks.
I know, I know they don't owe us anything, but I can't understand this strategie.

Default you know I don't get that

Why do we have to treat them like gods just because they do this for free? I swear every time I criticized them I got 10 responses from their most rabid users on how I should be ashamed of myself for questioning their most holy plan.

They are regular people like us that are doing us a service that we're grateful for. That doesn't mean they can't take a little critique every once and a while.

I agree that if the 2.5g pwnagetool is ready they should not let the 3g unlock hold it back but as far as I am aware the dev-team have not stated that the 2.0 unlock for 2.5g phones is ready...I am waiting as anxiously as every1 else but would rather see a fully stable release rather than a beta

yeah but fact is that they are diverting man power from the 2.5g unlock to get the 3g phones up to speed. I think they should instead center all their energy on the original iphones and then center all their energy on the new one.

because your 2.5g phones work.... some of us with 3g phones can't use them because we bought them in europe and brought them home with us and can't use them until they are unlocked.... so an unlock for us is way more important than its is for you... you just want to be able to use a few new features... some of us want to be able to use even the simplest of features.. like making and recieving phone calls

... and now... let the flaming begin
