    Default Restart when using ping!

    I just jailbreak my wife iPhone 3GS using pwnage (week 35).. Now sometimes when she used ping, the iPhone just turn off by itself.. Anybody has a solution for this problem? Should i just restore with the custom FW that i made, or make a new custom FW using pwnage and then restore it (replaying the jailbreak method)?

    Safest to make a new custom firmware with pwnagetool and then set up the iPhone as new. If you still have this problem after that... well you possibly have a hardware problem.

    Yes it is... that is the downside of buying an iPhone from a different country.

    Yup. It's Factory Unlocked.. So basically i can only replay the jailbreak process by using pwnage, or just try using blackr4in.. If the problem still persist, then it must be a hardware problem??

    It's 04 something.. I don't have the phone with me now, my wife lived in different city.. Basically i bought it at an apple store.. The production week is 35, FW 3.0.1, and modem 04 something..

    3.1.2 is jailbreak-able with blackra1n, you can restore to 3.1.2 activate the phone then jailbreak
